Privacy Policy

YaadTix (“we”, “us”) operates the YaadTix website and mobile app for discovering, buying, selling and checking in to events. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to both the website (yaadtix.com) and the YaadTix mobile app.
Information we collect
- Ticket buyers: your name, email address and phone number, so we can issue and deliver your ticket and support your purchase.
- Promoters and staff: the name, email and password you use to create an account and run events, plus the events, ticket sales and check-in records you create.
- Payment information: card details are entered in a secure checkout and sent directly to our payment processor, FedhaPay. We never see or store your full card number.
- Camera (app): with your permission, the app uses your device camera only to scan ticket QR codes for check-in. We do not take or store photos or video, and the camera is never used for any other purpose.
- Notifications (app): if you allow notifications, we store a push token for your device so we can send you ticket, event and check-in updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
- Usage & device data: basic technical information such as app version and device type, and limited logs, to keep the service secure and working.
How we use your information
To issue and deliver your tickets, process payments, verify entry at events, prevent fraud and abuse, provide customer support, and — only if you opt in — send event updates and reminders. We never sell your personal information.
How we share it
We share data only with the service providers needed to run YaadTix: FedhaPay for payment processing and our email provider for sending tickets and receipts. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Ticket and payment records are retained for our financial records.
Your rights and choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.
- Turn off app notifications and camera access in your device settings.
- Request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us (see below). We will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payment card data is handled by FedhaPay and is not stored on our servers. We restrict access to personal information to those who need it to operate YaadTix.
Children
YaadTix is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Some events may have their own age restrictions set by the organiser.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated through the app or website.
